Exhibition venues are typically empty spaces, from which you can build your ideal event with the use of various, reputable contractors in the event industry.
Here at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, we have a core team to assist in the journey of creating, planning, building and implementing your event brief, complimented by a large inventory of event equipment which can be hired in addition to the venue.
All event organisers will begin their Eikon journey with our account manager, who will create a tailored proposal reflective of each individual event requirements. Event organisers will have the opportunity to view the venue and discuss their business model and event brief.
Event organisers will discuss the operations and logistics of their event with the Eikon’s operations manager. The operations manager discusses the spaces, services and equipment requirements with the event organiser and consults with them the traffic and crowd management preparation for the event. The operation manager will deliver the venue's facilities in accordance to the organisers’ requirements.
During the live event, the Eikon will provide a venue manager to be on site. The venue manager will give direction to the security, first aid and housekeeping personnel operating on-site and will ensure that the venue facilities are available to the highest standard during the event.
Both prior and following the event, the Eikon endeavours to arrange a meeting with the event organiser and all members of the team so that all aspects of the event can be discussed and agreed as a team.
In addition to the venue facilities, the Eikon has additional stock available to hire to add to any event – to include forklift and driver hire, polypro chairs, grandstand seating trailer, crowd barriers, tiger barriers, heras fencing, stage, banqueting chairs and ticket booths.
The Eikon offers modern, state-of-the art facilities and bespoke services, working with reputable and industry-leading contractors to assist in making every event a success. The venue has a dedicated organisers space, 1GB fibre-optic broadband and bespoke event electrical and plumbing services.
The Eikon staff are experienced and reputable and are each involved in the delivery of the Balmoral Show, Northern Ireland’s largest agri-food festival, which attracts attendees in excess of 100,000 over a 4 day period.
The team have operated the venue for a wide range of different events including B2B exhibitions, B2C exhibitions, trade shows, large-scale conferences, elections and sporting events.
