Organising an event, exhibition or trade show and looking for the perfect venue?

Check out a range of FAQs below, where the Eikon Exhibition Centre will endeavor to answer the questions an organiser may have regarding an event at the Venue! 

  1. What size is the event space?

Here at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, the venue has 10,600 square metres of flexible and accessible indoor event space. The space can be divided into 5000, 5600, 2000 and 3000 metre square spaces. Other divisions are available. In addition to our 10,600 square metres of indoor spaces, the Eikon is surrounded by a further 65-acre outdoor event space to add to an event or exhibition.

  1. Where is the Eikon Exhibition Centre located?

The Venue is 10 minutes from Belfast City Centre. Moreover, the Eikon is within a 30-minute drive from 70% of the NI population and located adjacent to the main arterial route to Dublin. The Eikon is within a 90-minute drive for 4 million people. This ideal location is adjacent to the intersection of the M1 and A1.

  1. What sets the Eikon Exhibition Centre apart from other venues?

The Eikon Exhibition Centre is Northern Ireland’s largest events campus, twice the size of any other venue in Northern Ireland. As well as our outdoor and indoor events spaces, we have over 4,000 FREE car parking spaces available, including designated parking areas for blue badge holders on a first come, first served basis. The Venue has state of the art facilities including a separate Organisers Office, an ATM, 1GB Fibre Optic Broadband and bespoke exhibition electricity systems.

  1. Can the venue support event organisers hosting an event at the Eikon Exhibition Centre?

 The Venue has a dedicated operations team here at the Eikon Exhibition Centre with a vast range of experience in events operations, who will ensure that the Venue exceeds the expectations of any event organiser.

  1. How does the venue deliver the exhibition services required for an event?

 The Eikon Exhibition Centre works with a number of approved leading contractors to ensure each event and exhibition is a success.

 Eventsec are the Venue’s approved, award-winning security and stewarding contractor, who put together a tailored staffing based on the requirements of the event or exhibition. Eventsec are fully trained in the Venue’s emergency procedures.

 Proparamedics are the Venue’s dedicated first aid provider and have a purpose-built first aid room onsite. Proparamedics have nearly 20 years’ experience in providing medical services to events including exhibitions, festivals and concerts. 

 Concept Cleaning are the Venue’s approved housekeeping provider, keeping the Eikon Exhibition Centre clean to an exceptionally high standard. Concept are also able to provide staff to facilitate a pre- or post-event clean at the direction of the event organiser.

 IPS work on site at the Eikon Exhibition Centre on a daily basis as an approved venue electric contractor. IPS have installed purpose-built electric systems, designed for events and exhibitions both indoors and outdoors on site at the Eikon Exhibition Centre.

 The Eikon works with appointed caterer Vanilla Black Catering, who have two franchises on site here at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, these will be opened to the public for an event or exhibition. Vanilla Black offer a variety of options including tea, coffee, sandwiches, traybakes, burgers, chips etc. Vanilla Black are also able to discuss other catering elements for your event, such as arrival breakfast for exhibitors, coffee docks, organiser’s lunches etc.
