NI Motorcycle Festival back for 4th year at Eikon Exhibition Centre

After the record number of crowds last year, Nutt Promotions are proud to announce details of the Blackhorse NI Motorcycle Festival at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Balmoral Park, Lisburn on Friday 8th February to Sunday 10th February 2019.

The press launch was attended by the Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Uel Mackin who is “delighted that the event has once again returned to the Lisburn area,” and is proud to have “a fabulous facility in the area – it really is an excellent venue for such a prestigious show, attended by all the top motorcycle manufactures, as well as motorcycle and motocross enthusiasts from across Northern Ireland and further afield.”

The event is once again proudly sponsored by Black Horse, and will feature models from Charles Hurst Yamaha, Charles Hurst BMW, Charles Hurst Honda, Philip McCallen Motorcycles, Motoplus Coleraine, Davy’s Bikes, MV Agusta, GS Motorcycles, Crossans and merchandise from Clinton Enterprises.

Furthermore, the event will be attended by the Motorcycle Racing Association, the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster), ‘NIKA’ North of Ireland Karting Association and Bikesafe.

Both Alistair Seeley and Eunan McGlinchey will be guest riders at the event in February, and Alternative SPEX will return for another year with the Kustom Bike Village. Classic bikes will also be on display at the event, with the Kettle Club attending.

Back by popular demand, stunt riders Mattie Griffan and top trials rider Andrew Perry with his team. Also putting on racing for Pit Bikes is the Mini Motorcycle Racing Club on the Saturday and Sunday.

More guest riders will be released in due course once they have been confirmed to the press and social media.

Downtown Radio, Downtown Country and Cool FM will also be attending the event. Downtown Radio will be broadcasting live on Downtown Radio on the Friday and Saturday, sending live links back to Cool FM and Downtown Country.

 

Opening times are Friday 8th February (2-9pm), Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February (10am-5pm).

Admission is £12.00/ €12.00 for adults and £8.00/ €8.00 for OAPs. Children under the age of 16 are admitted free.

Free car parking is available on site at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, and two minibuses will be operating a shuttle service to the venue from Lisburn train station free of charge.
